Computer in hospital

Has anyone taken their laptop into the hospital when they were having sugery?

I am having a total knee replacement on November 1, and the doc says one week in the hospital plus an additional week in a rehab facility. I will go nuts in two weeks with no computer.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
