Re: Smokin' deal on a laser printer

I recently bought a Brother MFC8440 laser printer. My Canon coupler died,
and to fix it cost more than the all-in-one Brother that gives me a backup
laser printer, copier, fax, scanner. I don't remember what I paid for it
but it was not expensive, and it is fast.

I do a lot of photography, and color lasers are not recommended for that,
and I have an Epson 2200 for photography, a pricy ink jet, but the
cartridges are individual (6 colors) which makes a big difference in the
cost of replacements. It does a beautiful job of printing pictures and also
larger size. We have actually sold some of our Everglades prints.

Anyway I use that for anything that requires a color printer, and have no
need for a color laser. The Brother machine seems to be working just great.
