Re: AVG update crashes system?

OK guys. Did anyone else have this happen? I took care of it by system
restore and what it actually was trying to do was install 7.1 and when I
finally did get it to do it, it gave me a message that said **a terrible
error occurred** (no kidding....it crashed my system is the error). Anyway,
I stopped the automatic update (which I have it set to do when I boot up).

I guess the real test is to see if this boots now.

If this happened to anyone else or no one has gotten this update yet and it
does this, go to safe mode, system restore and take it back to Monday. I
guess it is now working.

Whew!
