Preop precautions/screening

A woman in Seattle is suing Swedish Hospital after waking up from
surgery with her head and neck in flames.

The hospital believes alcohol-based hair products were ignited and
plans on now including screening for hair products in their
preoperative instructions.

Just a note for anyone having surgery - nix the hair spray on the day
of surgery!
