LOL--I was reluctant to whine about not being able to open up the house (it's stubbornly sticking to highs in the mid-80s, and the old BR satellite receiver malfunctions when the humidity is too high). I can't believe I once thought nothing of chopping a little firewood in 20-degree weather in t-shirt and socks (yes, pants are a given) when I now run for flannel when it plummets into the upper 70s. . . I have become a wuss! My family in IA relates weather complaints to me and it's hard to even integrate anymore.
Janice, do you really think you could survive Alaska, silly woman?

I guess there is a reason that Julie and I are paying $2.67+ for gas. It was 91 here yesterday and fabulous. I will pay the gas prices for now. Sunshine does a lot to raise my spirits.
