I never have anything important on my laptop. I transfer files to my office
machine which has dual hard drives and backs up everything automatically, so
it was no loss. I occasionally let my son borrow the laptop so I NEVER
leave any medical files on it, and since I own all my software I just have
to install it.
It says I have to activate my copy of Word, however. Since I activated it
when I put it on my main computer is that going to mean they won't let me
use it on my laptop, too? Does anyone know? My connection isn't working,
so I wasn't able to do it. I can get on the internet, but for some reason
cannot reach MS or Toshiba to "register" the products. Have to consult my
son. I never use Word anyway, except to check the formatting on the
documents I have to send in Word. I can't find my WP11 discs, but I know
they are here somewhere. Time to clean out the office!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. My son and his wife both had to
work as they are in the service industry at Ocean Reef and Holidays are busy
days for them. When I worked in the Keys I always had to work on holidays,
at least now my time is more flexible.
I'm not hyped up for Christmas. Have some sewing to finish as gifts, and
did a little shopping when I was in Fort Worth last week.
