Lucky me, my son-in-law fixed my first one when I tripped over the cord and
knocked it onto the floor. The pin connector for the power cord was broken
in the process (which is why I had to purchase a second used one). My SIL
found a replacement pin on eBay for about $10.00 and replaced it for me. He
just brought it back on Tuesday when they arrived for the Thanksgiving
holiday, and I'm typing on it right now. As I said, lucky me!
