Thank you Maureen for explaining. You nailed exactly what I meant. I
happen to live in a community where respect is natural. The people who
come here with their prejudice can't take over because they are so
small in the minority that they are more of a small embarrassment to
themselves than influencing the area.
I grew up in the bible belt with Archie Bunker as a father. I have
worked my whole life to try and show how much we are alike and how
everyone can bleed when they are hurt or excluded. I will continue to
live my life in this manner because it has become who I am.
