Thanks for the clarification, but let me take it to the next level.

Do you feel, as a practicing Christian, that you have the right to pray in public circumstances, when there might be people around you who don't want to listen to prayers.

Consider the reverse ... what if it was a satanist praying in public circumstances. Would you want to hear what they're saying?

Dang. That's like asking, "What if somebody sneezed on you in public circumstances. Would you want to catch that moisture?"

"What if somebody talked loudly on their cell phone in a restaurant while you're trying to eat/talk to your dinner companions? Would you want to hear what they're saying?"

"What if somebody lit up a cigarette right in front of you as you were leaving a public place? Would you want to get smoke blown in your face?"

"What if somebody had an unruly child in a public performance and wouldn't/couldn't control them? Would you want to have to listen to it or hear over it?"

There are all SORTS of things people do in public I don't want any part of. I deal with it. If I'm REALLY ornery that day, I might sneer or say something snide about some people's kids with no home training or cough pointedly or roll my eyes, but I just move away as quickly as possible and continue with my own business.

I don't really give a flip about Happy Holidays versus Merry Christmas, but to get all up in arms about it (either way) is a waste of time and energy.
