So, you're so upset and unhappy that some of the folks at WalMart don't
say Merry Xmas that you want to organize a boycott, put them out of
business and leave hundreds of people in your community unemployed?
Did Jesus really command his followers to celebrate his birthday by
supporting economic sanctions against companies that don't follow the
"correct" religious doctrine for two months preceding the date
(December 25) on which his wasn't born? For that matter, where is the
commandment for Christians to celebrate Xmas at all? (Book, chapter and
verse, please.)

Heck, none of the store employees anywhere here wish me a Happy
Hanukkah or put up decorations for the holiday, and I'm not getting in
a lather about it. Come to think of it, they didn't do anything at the
stores for Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot, or any of
the other Jewish holidays, either. Of course some of this may be just
because we haven't commercialized them and turned them into
celebrations of conspicuous consumption... In any case, relax. It's
really a tempest in a teapot, being sustained mostly by the very people
you'd expect to oppose commercialization of their religion and
religious holidays.
