Re: OT: Anybody Remember This?

LOL!! Inspirational, thank you - I've been called a lot of things before
but never that :)

Actually some days I think I have just lost my mind and kick myself in the
arse for not doing this a whole lot sooner.

Since my diagnosis, my kids have grown up quite a bit and are beginning to
be very independent - which I like most times, but sometimes it tugs at my
heart.

Sometimes I think I do a lot of things just to spite other people - you know
the kind, the ones who say you shouldn't. Like my parents who said I
shouldn't marry my DH when I was 18, but to whom I'll be married for 23
years this May. I use to say I stay married to spite them, but now I do it
cause I'm lazy - okay so usually I'm only kidding, but some days....

I got into MT just to be able to stay home with the kids (don't shoot me for
this please) and it served me well, but I honestly don't want to do it
forever and if I want to do something I need to do it now I guess. I just
want to finally get that job/career that I can stay in for the long haul now
and properly prepare for my future.
