But what about privacy regs? Is eFax secure?

I decided if I really needed to fax anymore it would be by eFax. That is simpler to me as I can get the document in the computer via my scanner/PDF etc and then just fax it to where it needs to go or just email depending on what it is. If in PDF format, it makes a perfect copy so basically I just attach the PDFs to email and they get where they need to go.
They are not that much money and they sure are better than most faxes are as far as quality

Again. Everything is tumbling down around my head.
Why, oh why, would a hitherto perfectly operating fax machine suddenly decide not to accept a fax?
Yes, I spent 30 minutes on line with the HP expert. Yes, I followed the cord down to the end, and *no, it was not plugged in.* What a dope.
I plugged it in, it rang, but it won't accept the fax. No settings have been changed. What could I be missing?
