Re: Neal News

Good luck, Neal. BTW, my DIL gave up her high paying job to stay home with
the three kids, and to bring in extra income she turned to eBay. She also
sells on Craigs List as there's no charge, and for larger items it's just
easier to have people come to her house to pick up rather than have to
package and ship an item. Interestingly, when Barb's friends saw how she
was decluttering her house of no longer used toys and kids' clothing, and
getting money for it, they asked her to sell their things too. Now she has
a whole other side business going, selling her friends' items on eBay and
Craig's List, and taking 50% of the total sales for her commission. She's
earning just a fraction of what she once made, but she's home with her kids
which was the reason she quit her job in the first place.

So if I can offer any advice it would be to let your friends know that you
are a successful eBay seller, and encourage them to clean out their garages
and attics and let you sell their stuff for them. Meanwhile, as far as
garage sales go, look for old electronics as there's a collector's market
for them I understand. (This is based on what a friend has told me about
her husband's success...he buys up old rotary phones and AM-FM radios and
sells them at 20 times what he pays for them!)

Sounds like a fun idea!!!!!
