You're absolutely right. However, I'm also an employee that does the
transcription as an IC. So it's not as cut and dry. If I'm an IC, I don't
get Christmas bonuses either technically. We negotiate for our rate so
we're both happy and it's worked fine. Of course, this only works in a few
cases.
