She pays U.S. taxes just like you or me in addition to paying some type of
outrageous taxes in Sweden. She pays both as she lives in both places. The
orginal idea was for her to live half a year there and half a year here,
although that hasn't worked out well. She runs her own Internet-based
business with a U.S. business partner (she is a rock band interviewer and
sells heavy metal CDs). Anyway, she banks through a bank in Florida, uses
Paypal, pays taxes for both countries even though she has only set foot back
on U.S. soil once in two years, and that was to get her daughter who tried
to commit suicide, and take her to Sweden with her, and she has homes in
Jonesboro Arkansas and somewhere in Oklahoma. I didn't outsource to her for
cheaper labor and I actually haven't even had enough work to even call her
part-time in the last six months. She moved while already helping me.
Anyway, it doesn't matter what my business practices are. I don't give a
hoot about much of it anyway, or enough to cause such a big stink as this
has caused. This is about a silly discussion just because apparently
somebody couldn't wait to have something to harangue Rae with. Rae, girl,
more power to you. Oz, same to you. I know for a fact that Rae isn't helping
Oz out for slave wages, so it's kind of a moot point. Who really cares. I
know nothing said on this NG is going to make me change what I do.
