I wonder if Amit thinks Julie should have raised her rates to match Ozscribe, then? After all, she was doing this in Oz long before any of this became a possibility. I wouldn't think one's clients would be too pleased if I or any other US MT raised our rates and justified it by "that's what MQ is charging."

It is also interesting to note, that the company employing offshore
"sweatshop" Indian labor is charging the client more than the one using
"expert & dedicated" offshore US labor? [image:

This defies all logic, business or otherwise.
