Certainly your right. You can choose not to see how different it is - up to you. There is a big difference in helping a friend and targeting entire industry in another country in order to undercut it and take it from workers. These workers do not exist in Oz - according to a native - surely she should not go to India for crappy quality when she can find what she wants here?

There's offshoring and there's getting help offshore. Can you tell me of one case where you have heard something like this: "Well, Jim, I don't know what we're going to do. The customer support reps here in X state are so poor we have to send work over to India because their people speak much better English than do the natives of X state, and we need to make our customers happy. After all, when they can't understand Jim-Bob it is bad for business. How many times have you heard: "Well we can't find any good MTs in this country, we have to go to India?"

Make no mistake, this whole thing was about ONE person - ME - helping a friend who asked for help. Not about targeting an entire country's work if possible. Have any of you read the ridiculous arguments Amit is making over on MT Desk? GOod grief, what business is it of his IF Julie's decision was "emotional." It was no such thing. She had made friends here, she asked for help here. When you already know a good market, need help now, and have heard horrors about Indian MTs, why on this earth would you investigate it?

Most people see that you are taking work from another country after
screaming bloody murder about other people doing EXACTLY the same
thing.  You can explain until you're blue in the face why it's okay for
you but for others, but I think most other people see right through
this. Just try to relax.
