How sad it is to earn your money from basically stealing it from other
less knowledgeable, naive folks who are already so desperate for
whatever reason that they blindly give their hard-earned money away
hoping for a too-good-to-be-true solution? Think of seniors, or obese
people, or people who can't make ends meet and are willing to try
anything in the hopes that the 'tried and true' methods advertised will
work for them? Only to find that in the end, they are out the money they
invested with nothing in return and have made some other greedy SOB's
pocket fuller?
I think all of this kind of marketing should be outlawed and the people
pushing it should be prosecuted. I know that's a strong statement, but
I, for one, have lost not only much of my money to these scams, but
have also lost my basic trust in humankind as it is far too evident to
me that I can never judge a book by its cover anymore. Whatever
happened to truth and honesty, genuinely helping another in an effort
to elevate them from a negative position, without trying to rape them
for all of their money in the process?
It is sad, indeed.
