Re: Humiliation redefined

Floyd,

Thank you for the answers. I particularly find your life very
interesting. But again, you stated something on this group that is not
true. I didn't call you a liar. You stated that I was misinformed.

I said in my post many people in Alaska won't eat salmon. That
statement is true in my experience. In my note to you, I pointed out
that your experience in the bush is very different than that of people
who live other places. Subsistence survival will eat anything. People
in the bush will eat just about anything. Many of my friends will only
eat moose that is ground, won't eat roasts or steaks. They also won't
ear bear. Are you going to call me a liar on that as well.

I sure hope that you stick around and talk about your experiences in
Alaska, which I do find most interesting, but when I state my
experience with my friends in the interior and not ALASKA as a whole, I
do not appreciate being called a liar.

I was most curious whether your dogs were for fun, work, or
transportation. I will be curious to see if the mushers I know bother
to smoke their fish before giving it to the dogs.

I wasn't disputing your claim. But likewise, it would be helpful if you
would detail your experience because, as you well know, bush and
subsistance life is much different than people who choose not to eat
dying fish.
