It's just amazing how much the critters can help with tough times! I have a little dog who has seen me through some pretty bad ones, and there will always be a special bond there because of that. She's cuddled up to me more times when I've been upset or scared - I'm not sure what I'd do if anything happened to her. I really feel for you, Bam. It's hard to lose a critter you love so much.

I know what you mean. When we had to put our first kitty down because
of CHF (she was 16), it took me two years to get over it.
