I know, I know, I know.......

I don't know how many times I have heard this story, but until it
happens to you, you cannot believe it.

I was in the grocery store and turned to look at some flowers. I was
standing right by my cart. My purse was buried in the cart. Someone
stole my whole cart with me standing right there. I didn't see this
happen, even though I was awake, not drunk, and standing right there.
I ran for the service desk and started screaming for someone to help
me. (It didn't help that I had a considerable amount of money because
I am off to buy some furniture). Three of the managers ran out the
front door and I am thinking, no one is going to run out of the store
with my cart. I want to the other side of the store to see if there
was someone covering that door. Everything in the whole store stopped.
When I got back to the area, where the flowers were, was a young woman
(28 maybe) standing guarding, saying is this your cart. Some man ran
right by me with it and when I heard you scream about your cart being
gone, he just stopped and left the store. Yes, it was my cart, my
purse everything intact. I just cannot believe it. I am so mad at
myself for being so stupid. You think standing right there, no one
would be able to steal your chart, but they can.

I wanted to thank this young mother, so I had the clerk tell her the
groceries had been paid for when she was through. She said that she
couldn't take it, but I insisted. I just cannot believe if it wasn't
for this woman, my purse would have been history.

So please sisters and brothers be careful.
