Victory is mine!!

Remember when I posted about how one of my docs didn't want me to charge
for the legal statements at the end of workers comp reports? We
finally discussed the issue today, after many fits and starts; he got
called on emergencies a couple times, I was sick for two weeks, and I
had to deal with sick kids on other times. After a nice discussion
where I put it into terms of being paid for my time - by not including
those lines my hourly pay for these would be about a third of what doing
his regular clinic notes gives me - he saw it my way...sort of. I'll be
getting paid for the legal stuff, but we're gonna use a shorter
statement that I already have in my system; hey, it's better than me not
getting anything for this stuff, and he didn't really want his line rate
increased :-)

Now, back to work for me!
