The Japanese Gardens in Portland are awesome. And the Rose Festival is great fun! I've never seen a coastline like the Oregon coast, either. It was incredible.

The roses on Portland are another find. While I love the water in
Seattle, the architecture in Portland and the gardens are something
that everyone should see.
