Oh I think there is way more than that to get an occupancy permit. If
wiring is shot, for example.
Yep, and once you pull a permit for one simple thing, anything
grandfathered is no longer covered and insurance companies require you to
get everything up to code within a certain period of time or you lose your
insurance on your property.
