Re: I just had an idea!!

You can run both wired and wireless from the same router, but has your wife
ever thought of just buying drugstore-type magnifying glasses of the right
strength for when she does computer work.

I wear bifocals, but I sit far enough back from the screen so I do not need
to use the lower part of the lense. If a simple magnifying set won't do,
anyone who uses the computer a lot could have a special set of glasses made
(don't need to be fancy--cheap frames and lenses) that are correct for the
monitor viewing distance. I was considering that, but my optometrist
suggested just backing off a little from the screen and not using the lower
part of the lense, which has worked fine for me.

I just won a Dell Inspiration laptop on eBay and had an idea.

Martha does a lot of studying and tests for her work online, using my
second computer, but she isn't very comfortable at the desk. The problem
is that she has to tilt her head back quite a bit to look at the monitor
through her bifocals.

My idea is to get a wireless router and card for the laptop computer and
have her use it while sitting in her recliner in the living room. I think
if the laptap computer was actually sitting in her lap or on the table
beside her, that would place the screen low enough that she wouldn't have
to tilt her head back so far.

My question is whether I can use a wireless Lynksys router and still
continue to use my wired router that hooks my two computers to cable.

Thanks,

Neal
