Trust me Phyllis, you don't care what the law says when you are jacked
up on fertility drugs. You may argue that the people should, but I am
telling you from personal experience that isn't what it is all about.
So if you haven't walked in those shoes, you cannot imagine what it is
like.

I agree that a man should have control of how his sperm is used. As sad
as this may be for her, there are thousands of women who cannot have
their own children and find adoption a satisfactory solution. Maybe she
will become another Mother Teresa and do good throughout the world
because she doesn't have a family of her own to take her time and talents.

It is too bad that they couldn't have come to some type of agreement,
where he was not finally responsible and was just considered just a
sperm donor. This isn't about adoptions and becoming Mother Teresa.
There are many people who cannot adopt because they cannot afford to
adopt. Do you have any idea how expensive it is? Many cannot adopted
as single parents. Are you doing good in the world because you have
pulmonary fibrosis and cannot play seniors tennis, it is about the same
thing.
