Re: Two weeks and counting

What
the heck am I going to do with 12 bushels of Ruby Red and Valencias?!)
---------

Sell them to people like me who live where we can't grow citrus.

My eldest just turned 24 last weekend. I'm afraid there's a certain horror
in realizing your kid is definitely older than you are. . . Just seems
like yesterday when I could fit his whole *** into one hand, and here he
is--6 feet 2 inches of hairy MAN (and I haven't touched his *** in ages).

Even worse, daughter turns 17 in less than a month, so I get a double
whammy.

On the up side, the arrival of spring means the snowbirds begin their
exodus, which is something we anticipate as soon as they start arriving
around Thanksgiving. Something thrilling about not having to circle the
parking lots for a spot, wait for a table, or play bumper carts with
scores of confused oldsters in the grocery store aisles.

Also means it's time for me to get my arse out back and pick some citrus,
because the danged trees are already starting to bloom. (What the heck am
I going to do with 12 bushels of Ruby Red and Valencias?!)
