Whoa! Why is canned tuna bad for cats? Martha feeds them a can a day!

I saw a case on Animal Planet where the lady was a vegetarian and also fed her cats a vegetarian diet, and the cats went blind. Their eyes looked like they had HUGE pupils, as I recall.
