Ed, my view on addiction is you get sober when you GET sober.

Yeah, I know, but if the underlying issues are not addressed, nobody will
stay sober for long. Addicts focus on stopping, when they really need to
focus on why they're using. What's unfortunate is that most die before that
happens. You did all you could do. Sometimes a seed is planted that
doesn't bloom until later.
