been to his employer's benefit to keep him at apprentice wages as he
would have left for another job.
I certainly understand that but with offshore concerns undercutting us, the
docs and big hospitals and big services could still compete price wise and
keep the work in the US by hiring MT apprentices. Of course, they won't
stay for long but if there are enough of them, they won't have a choice
because there won't be many people hiring experienced MTs at a good rate.
Heck, those really are few and far between now and we have seen was has
happened to the going rate for MT over the past 5-7 years.
