The top part was your post, wasn't it? <puzzled>
Thanks to those who responded to my question. I've been swamped and didn't
get back to say thanks in a timely manner. :-)
For anyone who is interested, the keypay commands for this particular system
are:
1 = Hold
2 = Go to beginning of job
3 = Go to end of job
4 = Rewind
5 = Play
6 = Fast forward
7 = Mark job as transcribed
8 = Go to next job
9 = Change transcribe mode

She means a C-Phone, a Dictaphone instrument for receiving dictation.This was not my post. I don't know what the heck I did.
That's the name of it.
The question of the commands for the regular telephone -- for example,
if she were calling in to the hospital's dictation system with a
regular phone, there are keypad commands that forward, rewind, go to
the beginning of the report, go to the end of the report. I think it
varies by system and facility.
"Are you on e-bay? Because you can buy an INSTRUCTION MANUAL for your
phone for real cheap if you have a working PayPal which I do not, which
which is impossible to get fixed.
Oh here's some good news for everybody. Neal are you ready? Write this
down. PayPal TOLL FREE: 1-888-221-1161. You'll get someone at a call
center in India but have a good laugh about it. No more calling and
being put on hold on your dime. My brother RBritell (that's Richard,
not Romy) quit e-bay about two years ago because he couldn't solve his
e-bay problems and kept getting these "warning messages" from e-bay
about somebody using his PayPal and it being necessary to call them
with his personal bank info.
When you mean C-phone, do you just mean the cell phone you keep in your
pocket? I never go anywhere without my cell phone in my pocket. Even
typing right now, while DH is asleep. MY cell phone is in MY pocket,
and HIS cell phone is next to our bed."
