I can tell you this ... Do you know actor Jonathan Jackson? He was on the
soap General Hospital for a number of years and eventually branched off on
his own. He is a very devout Christian. --- And when I heard him say the
"GD" word in a movie, I nearly fell off my chair.

Good question. I've always wondered how some actors/actresses who claim to
be of a certain belief system play roles that require taking God's name in
vain, etc. Now I'd make allowances for something like Schindler's List -
taken from real life and necessary to accurately portray a horrible
historical reality, but I do not understand acctresses that claim to be
said religious faith taking off their clothes and portraying extramarital
sex for fictional stories. I don't believe you can separate your morals
and religion from your work. If you have a belief system that says "do
unto others as you would have done to you" then it must apply personally
or in business.

You've given up MT and have entered The Actor's Studio in NY. They adore
you. You're fantastic. You're another Meryl Streep (or Sean Penn). Steven
Spielberg wants you. Ron Howard wants you. Martin Scorcese wants you. Rob
Reiner wants you. (you get the idea)
You've been offered the lead part in a movie. The movie will be PG rated,
so there's no nudity and there's no cussing. Your will be salary:
$5,000,000 (think about it ... your children could go to fantastic
schools, you could fix up your home, take the vacation of your dreams,
donate it all to your favorite charity, etc)
Here's the catch ... the role is one that is direct opposition to your
personal beliefs. Example: You're opposed to abortion, but the role
requires you to play a doctor who performs abortions. You're a die-hard
democrat and you have to play the #1 individual that tried to get Bush
elected. You love this country, but you have to play a member of a
terrorist group. (along those lines)
Remember ... $5,000,000 to do with what you want.
Could you and would you play the part?
