I've used VoicePulse (http://www.voicepulse.com/) for over a year and am
very happy with them. They are one of only two that offer a local number
for me. When I first got it, I plugged everything in, and I've never had to
do anything else. Only once in the entire time have we ever had a service
outage, and it lasted only a few minutes. They offer two plans, 24.99 for
unlimited local and LD and 14.99 for unlimited local and 200 LD minutes.
FYI: The other service that offers a local number here is Packet8. I tried
them for a while, and it was a major PITA. I was always having to unplug
everything and reset everything, and it just wasn't worth the hassle. There
were also many dropped calls and very bad sound quality, which they always
blamed on something on my end.

I had VOIP with USA Datanet and wasn't thrilled.
I'm now in a debate with Verizon so refuse to take their products.
Anyone in PA using any of the smaller VOIP services?
Anyone else who are you using?
