Those questions, are moot, because I wouldn't want to act in a movie,
regardless of what the part was.
But with that said, Charton Heston, a lifetime member of the NRA, played
a role in a movie of a poacher (which is *not* something that the NRA
supports) who was the bad guy.
I think the current train of thought about actors is that they should be
able to play something totally unlike themselves and be very convincing
to be a good actor, and I think that actors do that a lot to show how
versatile they are.
