Did they have to push you out of the plane the first time? I'd love to
try skydiving, but I think I WOULD have to be pushed at first! <G>
(And yes, I'm terrified of heights. I got stuck on a roof 6' off the
ground once because I couldn't maneuver myself back onto the
ladder...sigh...) But, I'd still like to try it!

Actually, no. I was so ready to climb out of that little plane that it
wasn't even funny. Once they holler "cut" and cut the engine off, you'd be
surprised at how fast you would want to climb out too. LOL. I had already
been up on a ride just to go up to altitude and see them all jump out and
watch them from that view and then rode in the plane down. I got afraid
when I realized all the guys with the parachutes were gone and the pilot
had one but NOT ME!! LOL.

Really, though - on the tandem I was fine because I knew I was strapped to
an experienced skydiver and I trusted him. When I did my first free fall
jump, I started to climb out too fast and they had to tell me to wait a
second on the camera man and my other jump master to get out. I trusted
all three of them up there with my life (apparently). I think that made
all the difference in the world. The third time I wasn't expecting to be
on that manifest and I had just eaten Wendy's - burger, fries, frosty, big
drink, etc. I was ready to get out of that plane but hesitated when it
came time to let go of it.
