The point I was making was if you can't accept losing an account for whatever reason, it may not be wise to make waves. When I'm unhappy with a situation and want out but can't afford to lose the income I have, my first move would be to find some extra work first, then give notice of price increase to the client I currently had. That way you're covered. If you don't HAVE to have the work at all, then you can make any changes you want. From experience, it is a very good feeling to be able to make a change and know you will not be swayed from backing down.

I don't believe it's a matter of picking a fight. Depending on what
she's making on this account, there is always a possibility that she
can get herself a better deal elsewhere.
