The one thing I still love and always have loved about MT is that the
opportunity to learn.

Being a child of the 60s and neofeminism, I remember when Ms became an
accepted designation when you were unsure of one's marital status or for
those who chose to be their own woman, rather than the wife of someone.

I was all ready to go to the mat debating this one....did a search and found
a lovely article about the word and the use of a period after it NOW. I
sent the link to QA because it explained why I, as an oldie, did not use a
period after it, but it also explained to ME why, today, there IS a period
after it.

Of course, I'm going to have to put it in Auto Correct because it's going to
take me a while to start putting periods into my view of feminism ;-)
