Yeah, well I recently heard of a case where the DOL in one state ruled against the MTSO in another. I actually thought that would be less than likely. But, the question is have you ever been challenged. YOu keep saying how they say you are okay, but frankly the MTSO side is always going to present themselves in a light that may not be the same as that of the "IC." I really enjoy seeing this happen to deserving "MTSO" who are really employees.

There are reasonable limits. I recall someone here once aruging that telling someone what font to use was control. People who micromanage their accounts or allow them to be so micromanaged really should be employees - and I'll bet the DOL agrees.



Well, then all I could suggest is to let them go to the DOL and ask. I was surprised, shocked actually, at what our state DOL allows.
