And then try to make those of us who feel this way out to be racist or something? I know in my family it was my grandfather who came here from Europe. He did it legally. He worked hard, ran a couple of businesses, and paid his taxes. That's the difference. The fact is we (or any country) cannot save the whole world by just opening our doors and letting anyone who wants to come here whenever they want to. There is a breaking point.

Julie, I could not have said it better. That has been my take all along..
What part of ILLEGAL don't people understand. It is truly a slap in the
face to ever immigrant who has worked hard to come here the LEGAL way. And
how can they be legally paying social security, pray tell? Apparently, some
are with illegal cards and some are using the same number! That could
easily be tracked by social security (I heard there were 20 using 1 number).
The problem is the companies using the illegal immigrants and as long as you
have a government endorsing big corporations and businesses (have been for
decades not just recently) it will continue. We need to make it a felony
and bankrupt the businesses that hire them!
