Continuation of May Day thread

My server limits the number of posts a thread can have before it tells me to
shut up, which is probably wise, but hey, anything to avoid studying today,
right? So I'm copying to a new thread. Sorry for the disjointed flow that
causes.

Against whom, though? And for how long? A century? Two centuries?
Being angry with the people who committed an atrocity makes sense. Being
angry for people for being born to the wrong parents does not. How does
that differ from holding people's race against them?

I hardly think a random remark falls into the "angry" category. I'm not,
but don't think people won't remember, either.

I've made that particular remark several times in my life, more tongue in
cheek than anything. I'm not angry, but I don't forget because *I* am
reminded of the bias against me and mine every day, where I live. If they
won't forget, I can't.

I feel exactly the opposite about such bias. If such bias is wrong and
inaccurate when directed at you, doesn't it occur to you that it's wrong and
inaccurate when directed elsewhere? That's all I'm saying.
