When my parents sold their house, I went over and dug up a bunch of day
lilies and stuff (with the buyers permission). I had just thrown them in
old milk crates and set them in the yard cause I didn't have time to deal
with them. Imagine my surprise when about a month later I go to finally
take care of them and they had rooted where I dropped them. Those things
were abused so badly that year and yet, they fared well over the next 10+
years until we moved. Thankfully I dug up some to take with me cause the
new owners ripped them all out and tossed them.

Waving my hand-- I have a bunch of stuff I ordered, put in the garage
because it was so rainy, and then forgot. Then I discovered another box I
didn't know the mail lady had delivered THREE WEEKS AGO. All the stuff
was
still great! LOL! I think anything I get grows IN SPITE of me, not
because
of anything talented or wonderful I do to it! LOL!

I'm not Liz, but absolutely plant it now. It will be very happy to be inthe
ground. LOLplant
I absolutely abused a bare root rose bush I got once, not planting for
weeks, and it is doing great. I was sure it would be dead.

I received my order probably a month ago and haven't had a chance to
awayit. It's in an oblong box about 6 feet long and about 1 foot square.
It
got leaned against the wall in my bedroom for safekeeping (to keep it
isfrom the 3-year-old who wanted to bounce on it).
Along about Thursday last week I figured it must be dead.
On Friday I found that it had decided its box was just too much and it
grow?now growing out of one tiny corner of the box and reaching for the
ceiling.
Liz, is this enough abuse? Can I be nice to it now and it'll still
Like, in the ground?
