No, they are quite capable of working--but choose not to. My last husband owned a couple of pizzerias that were the best in the region. They did a thriving business. He liked drugs, though, so . . .

This same sister's current boyfriend is a roofer, by trade. Anytime he has a court date coming up, he has no trouble going out and getting some roofing jobs to take care of the court costs, etc. Often, that's not enough to keep him out of jail, though. When he gets out of jail, he just goes back to being a bum--until the next court date comes up, and the cycle goes all over again.

Nephews don't have any problem getting jobs, either. They just don't want them. As long as my sisters enable them, though . . .
