I'm not particularly in favor of mandatory credentialling. You
can memorize all the facts in the world regarding medicine and still
not
have "it" when it comes to actually putting it into practice.
If that's the case, then the person in question would not be able to
get or keep a job. The current exam requires 2 years of job
experience, so hopefully by then the candidate would know if they have
"it." As for mandatory credentialing, I'm sure it will never happen,
don't give it another thought.
