Digital Files - How can you tell what speed?

I must be overlooking the obvious, but I can't see where I can find out what speed the client used when he made the digital recording. (He's saying it's standard speed, but I don't believe him--sounds too lispy to be standard.)
Is there a place where I can find this in the software? I have StartStop, Express Scribe, Olympus, etc. (It's an Olympus (DSS) file.)
Thanks!
