Sandi, the book is better than the movie that was made of it. Somehow,
the tall Richard Crenna portraying the short Ross Perot was a bit
weird. Of course, the founder of EDS is a big hero in the eyes of
people like me.
I remember the times written about in that book so clearly. We in the
San Francisco main office knew some of the people who had been sent to
work in Iran. They weren't the executives named in the book, but the
working staff who were rushed out of danger with hardly any notice.
Did your husband work for EDS when Ross Perot owned it? Back in the
1970s, it was a great company, and I hope it hasn't changed much since,
but it probably has.
