Definitely go to Egypt if you can. The sight of the pyramids is something I
just can't describe, and The Valley of the Kings. Oh my, I'd go back in a
second if I had the chance. Israel, too.

Sandi, thanks for that link!!! I thought it would be more expensive than
that. Of course I would want to add two or three days to go and dive the

I don't think I ever read the book. I loved the movie and have watched
it several times. One of the few I own--that and Laurance of Arabia--I
have read the book he wrote, but I have a fascination with that part of
the world. Bob and I are trying to figure out how we can go to Egypt
before we are too old and decrepit to consider it!

Speaking of Egypt....my mother has asked me if I want to go to Egypt with
her as a graduation gift. I've always said that if I had 6 months to
live, I'd jump on a plane immediately and go see the pyramids. Guess she
doesn't want me to wait that long. LOL

Still not sure if we're going, but the very thought is exciting!
