I'll really try hard not to gloat.
I didn't buy gold (was tempted) but bought leather as well as Murano
glass jewelry. And I certainly ate well. Interestingly, I didn't
gain (or lose) a pound. All that walking has its benefits! The
tomatoes in Italy in May were better than the ones I get here in
Northern California in September (except for those given to me by my
friends who grow them). Aah...I could eat caprese salad (tomato,
fresh mozzarella and basil) every day of the week. Risotto, fresh
fish, great pasta, etc., etc., etc. (Oops, am I gloating?)
