Well, if I were really hesitant to go through particular testing, I
might also tend to think that a hospital was pushing it, especially if I
had been very ill and/or undergone a lot of
unpleasant/uncomfortable/whatever treatment. But that's just me.

Well, if it were me, I wouldn't go to a doctor or a facility if I felt they
would order unnecessary procedures and tests just to pay them off. I would
find someone else.
