Once my husband and I were driving back from the Western Slope of
Colorado after a state MT meeting, and we decided to stop in Aspen for
breakfast, and we could not find one restaurant open! This was in the
spring, after ski season. The locals must eat somewhere, but we asked
a few people on the street, and no one could direct us to an open
restaurant! So we got back in our car and went down the highway to a
nice little town called Frisco where we were able to find a nice
breakfast place. I certainly won't both to stop in Aspen again.
