Er, the paragraph starting "every state's law is different" is me speaking,
not their disclaimer. It squashed up together for some reason.

I went to www.legalzoom.com and bought mine. They did the paperwork and IVickie, I went and checked out that site and the "document specialists"
signed, dated and had notarized.
I also did my Living Will that way.
I consider it as legal as they come.
are not lawyers. This disclaimer is in teeny tiny print at the bottom:
Please note that LegalZoom's legal documentation service is not a law
firm, does not act as your attorney and is not a substitute for the advice
of an attorney. Rather, it helps you represent yourself in your own legal
matters. If you seek representation, are involved in litigation or have
complex legal issues that cannot be resolved on your own, we recommend
that you hire an attorney.
Every state's law regarding wills is different. Virginia in particular is
peculiar in just about every aspect of its legal system. I would urge you
to spend 50 bucks or so and at least have a Virginia attorney review the
documents you've created.
I have genuine concerns that these folks are practicing law without a
license.
